The Goo said...: Renee Montagne and Steve Inskeep took over hosting NPR's Morning Edition back in 2004 when Bob Edwards was ousted. It was a very sad day for all of us who were used to Bob Edward's baritone, as Renee and Steve are more of the bright chirpy morning people, whereas Bob Edwards made you feel like you weren't the only bleary eyed person hugging your coffee. I'm inclined to go with the one with the accent aigu. But I don't think I've been this disillusioned since they kicked Bob Edwards off... ON MY BIRTHDAY (seriously).
